BEFORE, AFTER AND DURING AN EARTHQUAKE YOU NEED TO FOLLOW THE STEPS THAT I'M GOING TO SHOW YOU.

* Create an earthquake readiness plan within your household and come up with a meet-up point for your family.
*Practice dropping down and taking cover so that it comes naturally to you when an earthquake strikes.
*Be prepared with an earthquake kit. The kit should have water, food, medications, a first aid kit, flashlight, batteries, radio, thermal blankets and other personal items which will last for 72 hours

If your inside your house or a building...
*DROP to the ground; Take COVER by getting under a sturdy table or other piece of furniture; and HOLD ON until the shaking stops. If there isn't a table or desk near you, cover your head with your arms and crouch in an inside corner of your house or the building
*Stay away from glass, windows, outside doors and walls, and anything that could fall, such as lighting fixtures or furniture
