Read by Carter Marley
Welcome
Today, children in schools up and down the country are taught to read using phonics. Phonics is a tried and tested method of learning to read where learners link letters (graphemes) to corresponding sounds (phonemes) and combine them to produce words.

Working in partnership with Carter's Yard Phonics, and concluding the 5 week 'Learn to Read with QPR' phonics eBook series, this story has been carefully written to build your child's confidence with reading.

The story, featuring QPR mascots Jude and Spark, provides an engaging platform for your child to showcase their phonics-based learning and broaden their reading experiences.

Only allow your child to attempt reading this story having moved through Phase 2 of the 'Learn to Read with QPR' eBooks.
Enjoy the fun of reading together!
