All you have to know about CLUBS!Loading...
How do you sign up for a club?
1. One way you can Sign Up for a club is during Dragon Camp! Dragon Camp is for all rising sixth graders (YOU) to visit DeSana a couple of days before school starts, to get your schedule, decorate your locker, get your locker, and most importantly, sign up for Clubs! if you sign up for clubs, you are now part of the club! If not, don't worry! you'll have plenty of other chances to sign up for a club -(look at option 2)
2. The second option to sign up for clubs is during the beginning of the school year. Every club in the beginning of the year offers an information meeting. if you decide to join a club you didn't sign up for, you can always attend the meeting. You can find out about these meetings during the Dragon Daily News everyday at 9:05. If you miss the meeting, you can always ask the teacher in charge of that club if you can be a part of it and i'm sure they'll say yes if your not to late!

What About Club Meetings?
1. Club Meetings will take place before or after school. Every student is responsible for his/her transportation. The same rule goes for any club trips
2. Club meeting will be announced during Dragon Daily News (Morning Announcements) so make sure to watch out for any club meetings!
3. Your club meetings will take place most likely at one of your teacher sponsors classroom. If not, you should also make sure to listen for where the meeting will take place, because clubs like basketball intramurals are probably not in a classroom! :)

What About Field Trips?
Club field trips are really fun! Depending on what club you choose, you may or may not have a field trip to go on. One club that I know for sure goes on a lot of trips and adventures is Photography club, so if you like adventure and photography, you may have just found a great club to join! Just make sure you have a ride!! :)
Let's Wrap this UP!
So that was all you had to know about clubs and how to sign up for one! Clubs are super fun and many of them even offer out of school trips! Just remember that you don't have to sign up for a club, but if you want to-go ahead! Also in case you were wondering about joining the DeSana basketball, golf, cheerleading, track, or football team, i'm really sorry! Those teams are only available for 7th and 8th graders, but you can always join the intramurals. Lastly, if you have an idea for a club, and a teacher is hoping to sponsor a club, you can always pitch your idea to the teacher and you might just have a dream club. I hope you guys are really excited for middle school, because it's a BLAST! See you next year!! :)
