In a world of seven billion people, it is important to remember that we all come in different shapes and sizes.
But, it seems as though Zara has lost sight of this. Zara is quiet and shy, she is also under the impression that she will not fit in because she’s a different race from the other kids.
But, it seems as though Zara has lost sight of this. Zara is quiet and shy, she is also under the impression that she will not fit in because she’s a different race from the other kids.
Her classmates have tried to talk to her, but she feels as though she won't fit in. One day, her teacher Mr. Hudson assigned a group project, and from this she realized that interacting with other kids is something she would like to do more of. However, she still found herself afraid to take the first step.
At home she finds the courage to talk to her parents about her problem.
"Mom?" she said.
"Yes, Zara?" she responds.
"Will the other kids make fun of me because I'm different?"
"No, Zara.'' her father responds.
"You must not allow your differences to limit you." he continued.
“Yes, this is true and if anything, your differences make you even more special.” Her mother replied.
"Okay, when I go to school tomorrow, I'm going to give it a try, and I hope the other kids will accept me for who I am.” Zara said.
