One cool sunny afternoon Sage had just finished school and was saying goodbye to his teacher Ms. Gardener. Sage always walked home, and today was no different, he was so excited to eat his afternoon snack of CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES!!!
He started down the road towards his house and in the distance, he noticed a racecar. As he got closer, he saw that this wasn’t any normal racecar. It had eyes, eyebrows and a mouth.
My name is Roddy Racecar and I’m the fastest car in town, you wanna race?
“I don’t know Roddy… I’m nowhere as fast as you, but I will try and race you from here to that mud pile and back”, Sage said. “On your mark… Get Set… Go!” and they were off.
Roddy was so far ahead. But when he reached the mud pile, he got stuck! Sage ran right passed him and back to where they started. “Thanks Roddy, good luck with the mud”, Sage said as he continued on his walk.
OH NO!!!
I'm Stuck!
I'm Stuck!
As Sage makes his way home, he is stopped by a Moose who cannnot see and is blocking the road. Sage asks him to move but he won’t budge. Sage has an idea. “Ohh Mr. Moose”, Sage says, “I think I saw a bear just behind me”. “Ah..Ah..A bear”, the Moose responds. “Yup a bear and it told me its favorite food is Moose macaroni”, “Moose macaroni… oh dear, I better get out of here” and the Mr. Moose runs off into the woods.
Sage continues on his walk and he notices 3 birds laughing at one other little bird. He walks over and asks the little bird “what is your name?” She responds, “Fiona” “What’s wrong Fiona?” “All the other birds are making fun of me because I can’t fly” Sage thinks and then says, “I have just what you need”.From his backpack he pulls a bubble gun he made at school that day and shoots it at Fiona. And just like that Fiona begins to lift off of the ground inside of a bubble.
So cool...!
Sage walks in the front door of his house and goes to the kitchen. To his surprise the last cookies has been eaten. “Oh no! all of the cookies are gone. What will I eat now?”, he says, “Well I guess I will just have to make them myself.”
