“Ahhhhhhh!” they screamed playfully.
Adam was tagged again.
The magical children Juno, Evie, Adam, and Finn had been having fun playing all afternoon, like they did every day. Each child had their own special magical power. Juno could control fire and all things hot, Evie was gifted with powers over the stars, Adam protected the Earth and all things growing from it, and Finn had power over water and the seas.

They were playing as they always did, but for Finn, today was different; his shoelaces had come untied.
“Oh no!” He thought. “What should I do? I don’t know how to tie my shoes!”
Disheartened, Finn sat out for a round of tag while his friends continued to play. Evie noticed Finn was sitting all alone and walked over to him. “What’s wrong Finn?” she asked, with a concerned look on her glowing face. “We miss you!”
He looked up at her sadly and muttered “I’m fine. I think I’ve had enough of this game.”
“Well,” said Evie, “we could play something else if you’d like.”
“I think I just need a rest,” said Finn.

Breathless, Juno ran over to join Finn and Evie.
“C’mon Finn, come back and play! Get up before Adam tags you! Oh hey, it looks like you need to tie your shoelaces...You can tie them by yourself, right?”
“Well…”
Adam, running up to join them, said “It’s okay Finn, I just learned how to tie my shoelaces yesterday. It can be really tricky.”
“Not for me!” snapped Juno. “I’m great at tying my laces! It was super easy!”
