Thank you Wind!By Jack A.
Loading...
Good Morning! Thanks for coming! I am doing a poem inspired by Mrs. Heard’s “where poetry hides" exercise.
I chose my poem since it made me realize that we always take everything for granted. It is about thanking the wind and its cool breeze as it flies by. So sit back and please enjoy!

To Wind:
Thanks for migrating here for the spring-
Turning from a frigid frosty gale
Into a nice sprig of moist, warm breeze…
How you whistle through my hair-
Somehow cooling me down when I dash so fast…
You make the trees sway,
Staying with me all the way…
A hurricane would NOT be nice,
However a cool rainy wind
Could be a delight…
Thank you Wind,
From Unspecified Human

Poetry helped me during this hard time
as it helped me stay calm,
and jot down my feelings.
I wholeheartedly recommend this
for anyone feeling stressed.
My piece of advice to anyone would be
to NOT RUSH A POEM. Let the words come
from your heart, not from your hand.
Thanks for listening!
