We chose to focus on autism as a disability to research. We wanted to learn more about autism and possibly educate other people about it. Some of us in Literacy Cast have different ranges and levels of autism and want to learn more about it and how it pertains to ourselves. We also want to be able to help children with autism learn to the best of their ability while honoring their disability. We want to learn how to create a productive learning environment for them.
