We would have like to seen more diverse disabilities portrayed in the book. Instead of only having one person with a disability, perhaps you could have created other characters with different disabilities, even if only in the illustrations.

We must not let anyone’s mind limit what able hearts can do.

We would recommend this book because: <ul><li>people with Autism can relate to it and it could help them in some way</li><li>it could help people who don't have a disability to become educated about Autism</li><li>it includes an accurate representation of Autism as lived and experienced by this boy</li><li>the author is an Autistic mother and has two boys with Autism</li><li>it used inclusive and current language and the mom in the story tried to educate the other moms at the park</li><li>the boy in the story was not cured and continued to have Autism throughout the story; he was born with Autism</li><li>when the mom stuck up for the boy and told the other moms that he couldn't speak, but he could hear and understand what they were saying, she was demanding respect for her son in an appropriate way because she knew her son was watching. She wanted to set a good example for her son.</li></ul>
