Once upon a time, there was a thief who was shut up in a prison in Texas. One day, a lady went past in front of his cell, and asked a caretaker to take him out.

The lady explained to the thief that she was the victim of a curse, the thief asked what was the curse she was speaking of. She explained to him, that she was constrained to always live, and that to break the spell, she had to find other people who would undergo the curse in her place. So, the lady gave her curse to the thief, and said that to give her curse to a person he must do a good thing. The lady faded away.

The thief was enjoying being free, and decided to never go back to Texas.
The months pasted, and the thief didn't know what to do. Behind him appeared the ghost of the lady. She told him that the he had done nothing good for the moment, so she decided to help him by giving him a shovel and she disppeared like she had arrived. Years had passed, and the thief was digging non stop, and he had begun to dig the contours of the countries.

After a few years, the sky began to split open. The ghost of the lady appeared in front of the thief, and told him he could at last go up to heaven to be with his family.
