BLM is a very popular thing now in the USA many from different cultures, skin color, and backgrounds come and protest for other people because they know that every person that comes to the protest will help other people to be treated more important and with respect. One person might change history and so that is why it is important to help other people because it might not be easy but when you accomplish it will make you and other people proud. One person can change the lives of more than 50 million people by just fighting for them.
“Young Americans are significantly more engaged in the movement: 73% of 18-to-34-year-olds have taken some sort of action in support of it compared with 52% of the general population. Almost one in five (18%) have signed a petition in support of the movement versus one in 10 (10%) of all Americans.”
The president has responded to the demonstrations with animus. Last month security forces used teargas to break up a peaceful protest at Lafayette Square outside the White House so Trump could stage a photo op outside a historic church. He has defended “law and order,” historical statues and, critics say, a legacy of white domination, while fiercely denouncing “the radical left, the Marxists, the anarchists, the agitators, the looters.”
