due TO the human activities in the last 200 years the effects of climate change ARE becomING bigger and bigger! 

In addition to the melting of the polar ice caps, there are other issues of climate emergency like extreme weather events.

An example of extreme weather events are the floods that take place in many countries around the world. because of the heavy rain that pours down for several days, a lot of people are flooded out.
