The Mongolians invaded China, destroying many towns and killing many soldiers and innocent people. They stole some of China's loot and made them go on lockdown.
The past emperor increased farmers crop taxes so he could get more food for himself. He had harsh punishments and belittled peasants.
Your name is Li Jing. You are next in line in the Mandate of Heaven. The reason why you are early to the throne is because your fellow people were little mad about the last emperor, and overthrew him.
