My name is Cecilia Lucius and it's September 21, in the 5th century. I live in Italy, today I helped my parents catch some animals. My family owns a butchery.
Today my parents let me off my job early so I went outside and ran through the fields of the tall green grass. While I was out running through the fields I felt a bit dizzy and light-headed so I headed home My parents told me to rest for the day and I should heal up and recover from whatever I was experiencing. I later woke up feeling a bit uneasy like I couldn't walk properly or something. I went to go check on my parents and they greeted me with a hug, I did feel a bit good at that time. I don't usually get a lot of affection from my parents.

While I was out sleeping and resting up, my parents were very worried and were praying all-day. After knowing that I did feel like apart of my family. I later was confronted by my parents that I should be getting treated. That it would make me feel better and they would be more sure, that I was okay. "Thoughts" I really didn't want to go" I had a feeling that if I was still semi-sick that I would have more affection and they would care more.
Even though I didn't want to go at all. I didn't like going outside since I'm outside most of the time. All I wanted to do was stay home and sleep. I was so tired.

Later that day my parents were still trying to convince me to go to the hospital to be treated for the plague. I really just didn't want to go, I honestly wasn't even scared I just want attention and affection like old times. "thoughts" Of course I went just like the good girl I am"
I later went to the hospital and got treated but the doctors discovered I had the plague. After hearing about the news I was so afraid. I had no idea what to feel, when I found out that I had the Plague.
The doctor diagnosed me with the plague. The plague is a disease that affects humans and other mammals. It is caused by the bacterium, Yersinia pestis. Humans usually get plague after being bitten by a rodent flea that is carrying the plague bacterium or by handling an animal infected with the plague. I felt shocked and chills down my spine.

The doctor told me after I woke up that the plague is deadly. Yersinia pestis is, the deadly bacterium that causes plague, kills by cutting off a cell's ability to communicate with other immune system cells needed to fight off the bacterial invasion.
I did end up passing out from the hospital all I remembered was that I was in the emergency room being treated and then "bang" I'm awake here. After I was pretty much fully awake and felt very uneasy. As if I was noodle and just got steamed up. It was hard for me to walk and think. I didn't really feel too good but better than before I was treated.
I feel glad that I got treated because I feel a lot more better. I still feel unstable though. They treated me with many different methods. Rubbing onions, spices, or a chopped up snake on boils, or chopping up a pigeon and rubbing it on an injured body were some of the remedies they sought. Consumption of vinegar, ground minerals, arsenic, mercury, or even ten-year-old treacle. My parents were crying and praying for me to beat this disease every single day. It truly gave me faith.

Fast forward 3 days I did still feel a bit uneasy, my parents had to close up their butcher business and I did feel faulted. Later that day I did start to show symptoms of the Plague again is was scary, having aches on my body, random headaches, and even feeling like I couldn't wake up
I was definitely getting scared again I feel like getting this symptom was a life scar for me. It was definitely very hard to forget that I had the Plague and was diagnosed the past few days were definitely a hard time for me getting aches, pain, and random spurts of pain.
The pain definitely left very big impacts on my life, I was scared everyday fearing that I would have to feel the pain I endured while having symptoms. It felt like the only thing that kept me going was my parents.
