"Come in," the King says authoritatively, but a curious tone in his voice too. Who would dare to interrupt the king in his own room?

King Darius I was sitting on his bed, looking out the window at the large empire he, and others, had built. Now, a bed is probably not where you typically imagine a king to be. When you imagine a King, you probably imagine him sitting on a gold throne with servants carrying all sorts of delicacies and more servants pampering, and more servants polishing the gold dining table, gold chairs, gold vases, and...well you get the idea. Don't worry, the servants were still there, but sometimes the golden throne gets a little uncomfortable, being made out of gold and all.

Everything seems completely normal when short, sudden knocks are heard at the Kings massive, also gold, doors.

Darius raises an eyebrow at the, "unnecessary relaxing", but let's it slide. For now.
"And what might this, discouraging report, be?"
"Sir, Greece is supporting the uprisings and rebellions from Ionia, which are against our kingdom."
"Ionia!" the King roars. "You told me these rebellions were small, silly, matters!"
"Yes sir, but that was months ago. During this time they have grown and brought the Greeks on their side. And you know how powerful the Greek army is."
King Darius, in fact, did know. He had quite a few of them in his own army! But that was not the matter. Right now, he needed a plan. Something to overthrow the Greeks. An invasion.

A servant proceeds towards the doors, revealing the messenger Darius remembered sending a week ago to check on the neighboring kingdoms.
"Your Highness, sorry interrupt your unnecessary relaxing - uh - duties, but there has been a discouraging report from Greece."

Darius raises an eyebrow at the, "unnecessary relaxing", but let's it slide. For now.
"And what might this, discouraging report, be?"
