 “Kill him!”, the crowd shouts. I look away then do what I have to do. After the fight I took my prize money and headed home.
“Hey, Argus!” I hear, It’s my friend Bellator who was also captured in the Cretan war and became a gladiator.

Galo, jumps on me. I hug him and start heading to my wife, Thalia, who is tending to Kassandra. I hold up a piece of my suit to reveal a wound. Thalia starts stitching it. An hour later we had dinner.
Galo asked, “Will you teach me how to fight?” I almost choked. I managed to swallow it, I sputtered, “Let me talk to your mom.” After we tucked the kids in, I started talking to Thalia about teaching Galo.
“He should be able to defend himself.” She said.
“Too dangerous,” I said.
“Even if you don't teach him, he will become a gladiator.” She argued.
