I go to Rockhill Elementary School. I am ten years old. I will be in 5th grade next school year. There are only two months left of fourth grade. I like to play my Xbox 360. Black Ops II Zombies is my favorite game of all time. Dragon Ball Z Kinect is the best Kinect game ever!

This is the correct way to interrupt others!

My name is Jon Smith and this is my first year as the technology resource teacher for Alliance High School. I taught special education for 12 years. I am a strong believer in the power of students as contributors and ones who leave behind a legacy of learning. I am married to Jayme and we have a son named Jaymes. In my spare time I buy Apple products and play an absurd amount of golf. I am also an instructor with The Communicate Institute where I teach a class on engaging the 21st century learner with technology.

Here are the reasons why the interruptions in that video were good!

1. He approached the group in a calm voice. 2. Jack made good eye contact. 3. Jack didn't yell out and he said, "excuse me."

Here are the reasons why the eye contact in that video was bad!

1. The boys are not looking at each other. 2. The boys are not talking about the same thing. 3. If you don't look at the person you are talking to, you are not making friends.

Here are the reasons why the the interruptions in that video were bad!

1. Jack walked up to the group and didn't say, "excuse me." 2. He didn't make eye contact with anyone. 3. Jack also yelled out about his own things.

I'm Jack Russell. I'm 11 years old. I'm about to turn 12 on May 1st. I love playing Minecraft, playing Call Of Duty Black Ops 2, and other Call Of Duty games. I love blowing things up in Minecraft and other games. I slayed the Ender Dragon three times. I have a dog named Dug. I can do the Gangnam Style dance. I give respect to YouTubers on any game if I see them except for Squid Army's leader. I like to hang out with my friends. I have a brother, a couple of cousins and uncles, and a mom and dad. I love the Harry Potter series. I like the color blue. I also love to play Team Fortress 2.

Hi. My name is Corbyn. I'm going to turn 11 on October 25th. I like to play Sonic on the Sega. I have beaten all of the levels in the game. There were 100 levels in the game. I live in Canton. I have a fireworks set. Fireworks are really cool. I have a ferret. His name is Tails. I also have a dog name Dobie. He is a baby Chihuahua. I have a king sized bed. 

Humans are social beings who have many different ways to communicate their thoughts and feelings. Learning social skills does not always come naturally. Using social skills appropriately involves developing the awareness of how we communicate with others. This includes what we say (verbal expression), and how we act (non-verbal communication). Knowing and using the rules of social communication can help us to establish and maintain friendships, enhance our learning in the classroom, and become contributing members of our community. Social skills impact every aspect of our lives. The students who have created this eBook and introductory video are learning by doing...and having fun in the process! Being able to explain and demonstrate appropriate social skills has provided the students with an opportunity to practice social skills and share what they have learned with the world. I have worked as a Speech/Language Pathologist with Alliance City Schools since the beginning of time (or at least 1980). I have worked with students from preschool through high school. My Undergraduate degree is in Speech Pathology. An interest in the correlation between language and literacy development led to getting a Master's degree in Education with a focus on Elementary Reading and Literacy. I love the way technology has changed the look of therapy for students of all ages. The students are more actively engaged in their learning when using technology. Becoming a self-directed learner is a skill that will benefit them throughout their lives.

1. Andre was angry. 2. He smacked the table. 3. He used a loud, crazy and mean voice. 4. Andre does not get any candy.

Here are the reasons why the wait time in that video were good!

1. Andre walks slowly to the table and says excuse me. 2. He asks for a piece of candy nicely. 3. Andre sits quietly and waits. 4. He gets the candy and says, "Thank you!" to Corbyn.
