BIOGRAPHY
I've grown up and lived in Colorado all my life. I'm 17, and my dad is probably my main musical influence, he's actually a DJ himself. This is my first album, but not my first time playing around with music. I don't know if I'll do more or less of this stuff in the future, I'm just going with the flow 😎
My music does not have a set genre, it varies from hip hop to pop, so maybe you'll find something you'll like, maybe you wont. These songs are intended for an age range of around 13-30, and people who live around urban/suburban areas. Personally, I usually only listen to hip hop/rap, with a few exceptions here and there; If I like it, I'll play it. My main influence would mostly be my dad, I don't really have one artist that I always listen to, but I do like Lil Uzi's Beats, Anderson Paak. and lo-fi, so maybe that's where some of these ideas came from. This album's theme is about life during quarantine, stuck inside.
ARTIST STATEMENT
1. You
This song was made using sounds from my home, the clinking in the background was a hydro flask, the banging on the door was my desk, and the pop was my mouth. I didn't have any plans for this song, I just kind of went with what sounded good. This one is personally my favorite, and also my first. (Also, I was both the interviewer and the person at the door).
2. Quarantine
This song was made with the intention of representing life during quarantine. The first beat represents the initial reaction to having to stay inside and away from everyone. However the beat then shifts, like we as humans did, recognizing that in order to move forward we have to look on the bright side.
3. Turbulence
This song was made just to have some fun, experimenting with different sounds and types of genres. I wanted to do something different, so each verse is a different type of music.
