BY- HOPE SCOTT-LABODEBackground
my name is Hope and I love music. I think music can explain and teach people so much about others and what's happening in the world. It can also control your mood and be something you can really connect with. I started making music this year in Audio Production and so far, I love doing it.
My favorite genre of music is r&b. I love this music because it's music that lets you hear your thoughts in a positive way.
this album is intended for anyone who likes to vibe. If you like chill and calm music, this is also for you.
the music influencer's in my life is SZA and Daniel Caesar. SZA teaches me about really good intros and outros for beats and songs and Daniel Caesar taught me that what's in the song and how you make people feel throughout your music really impacts how well you do.
First song- intro
At the beginning of this song there is a little interview about how I am going through these covid times and how i'm feelin.
After the interview comes a beat and I made that beat out of wanting to do something different. As an artist, my style is making something people can vibe to so this was a little bit out of my comfort zone because you can really dance to this, not chill.
second song: bobbb ya headdd
i decided to make this beat while listening to Daniel Caesar. He is an amazing artist that keeps me calm all the time. His music involves chill and some up-beat stuff and that's what i decided to add to mine.
third song- vibe wimme
My inspiration for this beat was from SZA's song '20 something'. In the beginning of her song, its this amazing beat that makes me think of waking up early in the morning at the beach watching the sunrise. it makes you feel this overwhelming feeling of calmness and that's a thought i wanted to bring to this beat
