$mallz Feat: AvteamBiography
I am 15 years old, born and raised in Denver Colorado. I love writing music and making songs. I played drums for 3 years and guitar for 2. I love many kinds of music and I use music to calm down or get hyped up. I'll continue making music and I'll probably be seen on Avteams (Avery) music sometime in the future.
Artist statement
My style with music is usually rap, but sometimes I enjoy trying different things and incorporating instruments that are uncommon in modern rap/hip hop. My music is for anyone interested in experimental rap and beats. Some of the people who influence my style are MGMT and Kendrick Lamar. I love their music and always will. This album has a few of my songs that I proud of featuring my good friend Avery Burcham.
Dynamic Duo By:$mallz (feat. Avteam)
This was the first song I made with Avteam aka Avery. We had a lot of fun making the beat and coming up with lyrics. It was a great intro to this class and honestly, I still think it's pretty good.
Denver Go Brrrrrrrrrrr By $mallz
(Feat. Avteam)
(Feat. Avteam)
This is the second song I made with Avteam aka Avery. It's all about Denver and its ups and downs. I love this state and the beauty it holds but it seems like the city pushes it further away each day and that's the idea behind this song.
Very Snazzy Beat by $mallz
For this beat I wanted to try something more natural with guitar and drum fills but I also incorporated some sound effects so it's kind of weird. I think it turned out great either way and I'd love to write some lyrics for it sometime.
Support/Shoutouts
I have to shout out to Avteam, aka my very good friend Avery Burcham for all his help with these songs.
Babah Fly, thank you very much for your support with Soundtrap and for teaching us how everything works.
Thanks, Ms. Olson of course for everything you do in this class. It means a lot to all of us.
