The name comes from the Greek pantheion which means temple of all the gods.
The building is circular with large columns and a rectangular lobby. It is one of the best preserved buildings, it has been used as a church with the name of Basilica of Santa Maria.
The people who visited it took photos of the statues of Caesar Augustus and Agrippa.
