IMFORMATION: It is an amphiteatre from the time of the Roman empire. It was built in the 1st ceuntry. In ancient times it had a capacity for 65,000 spectators.

MATERIALS: Travertine, concrete, wood, stone, marble and stucco blocks.

CONSTRUCTION: The amphiteatre was used almost 500 years. Its construction began under orders of the Empereror Vespasian in 71 B.C.
