It was a beautiful summer day in Hildale, Utah. Three teenage friends Michael, Jack, and Chris decided to go fishing. They came across a pond. Hours of casting and catching nothing Michael and Jack became frustrated and exhausted and decided that they wanted to head home. Chris was desperate to catch a fish and didn't want to leave without catching one. So, he told Michael and Jack that he was going to stay for a while longer and head home later. The day quickly turned to night and things that kept Chris company were the sound of crickets and the bobber hitting the water. Chris came to his senses and realized he needed to head back home, but, being anxious to catch a fish he decided to take just one last cast.
He flicked the reel and through his line in the water. In just moments he realized he had something on his line. "It's a biggin!!" Chris said with excitement. Chris was full of excitement and could not wait to tell his friends. As he began to reel and reel he quickly realized it was not a fish but a dead body. He got up screaming and ran home terrified at what had happened. As the days went on, Chris couldn't stop thinking about what had happened, how could he forget. He never told a soul about what he saw at that ole pond nor will he ever.
