What makes me different from my mom

Mother-daughter relationships are really close but their personalities can clash, that's like me with my mom. My mom and I are completely different characters. I'm a very shy person, I get tense while meeting new people. I'm also more mature than my mom, which sounds weird but it's true.

My mother is the complete opposite, she's an extrovert, she loves talking to people. My mom is not a very mature person, at all. She can be when the time is right, but most of the time she's jumping like a child, she's so goofy. My mom is also happy all the time, which is not a bad thing but that's different from me because I have days where I'm not happy. Even after a long day of work, she will always come into my room looking so happy and so energetic. I'm amazed because there's no way that I'm coming back from work being so happy, it's not going to happen.

My mom is so obsessed with her clothes, her look, everything. I'm not like that, I don't care about clothes, I mean I do but not as much. My mom can't go 3 days without shopping in stores or online. She has bought so many dresses online and then comes to me asking if I like them.

I think I know why she loves clothes so much and why she buys so much of it because she didn't have as many opportunies buy stuff when she was younger. Despite all of the differences we have, and that my mom might drive me nuts everyday, we still have this amazing bond and I know I can go to her for anything and she can come to me for anything.
