There once was a pine tree on a tiny, rocky hill. People came to collect pine cones from the tree for food. One day, the pine tree stopped giving pine cones as it was dying from thirst, and people starved.
The people ran to a river and collected some water and gave all the water to the pine tree. The tree started to grow. Few days later, the pine tree started to grow pine cones again. The people ate all the pine cones on the tree. Then, squirrels and birds started to live on the tree. The people were mad because the animals were taking their food, but they still had some leftover pine nuts so they planted them. Several days later, the pine nuts had grown into a tree, and the people planted more seeds for everyone. The hill had become a forest as the people learned how to plant.
