I remember that day. It was Mardis Gras. I was in a cosplay of one of my favorite anime characters and I was listening to my English teacher. When I looked out the window, I saw a UFO land in the playground. I wanted to alert the class but I couldn't... I was petrified! My heart was beating so fast and I was wondering if it was a prank or a hidden camera. But then, the aliens got out of the UFO. So I turned around to calm down and I saw everyone crying! The teacher told us to stay calm but we were all frantic. The aliens blew up the roof so I tried to protect my eyes from the ashes by pressing my face against my arm. When I opened my eyes, the teacher and half of the class were already dead.
When the aliens came into the classroom to kill the survivors, I remembered I had a sword on my belt, I mean a katana (I was dressed as a samurai) and I had gotten the permission from the principal to have it if I didn't take it out of its case. I felt the adrenaline rise in me and then, I took out my katana and drove it into the alien's heart. I killed about thirty-two aliens after that. I was proud of myself but I needed to get everybody out of the school. Two minutes after we had escaped, the school building collapsed and all the aliens died in it. Half of my class had survived. When I looked at the school, I realized I was crying. I had lost almost all my friends in this attack , and at that moment, I swore to myself that I would become the strongest woman in the world to avenge them. I was in a confused state, shared between so many emotions. Anger, sadness, compassion for the survivors, and determination.
Today, a lot of aliens try to invade Planet Earth, but with other people who survived their attack, we fight them. And when I kill an alien, I have the feeling that all my friends who died on that day are by my side...
