CUT! Can you all just cooperate for once? If we want to outdo the Shining, It, Friday the 13th and all the other hall of fame horror movies, we are going to have to work extremely hard. As the room slowly became brighter, my worries about pulling off this once-in-a-lifetime project became more prominent, but I had to keep my game face on. My crew had already voiced their concerns about how they felt uneasy about making the scariest, most gruesome, bone-chilling horror movie known to man. I had to prove them wrong, to do so I had to put more effort into this one movie than any other in my directing career. Take 2… Action! Wait, the scene needs to be darker. The audience shouldn’t be able to see the killer until right before he murders her. “Freddy, can you make the room darker?” I asked. He didn't answer, so I looked over and found no one standing at the lights. I can’t believe he quit on me during this crucial part of filming. I never needed him anyway, I'll go dim the lights myself. Once I got back to my chair I yelled, “Take 3… Action”. We finally got through a scene! “We should switch to a wide camera to showcase how massive our assassin is”, I said out loud so our cameraman Michael would hear. Once again no answer. He was gone too. I was getting more and more aggravated, Michael and Freddy were probably at the pub down the street laughing at my expense. Then I told everyone to go on break, so I could find Penny, Micheal’s assistant. What a surprise, I guess she quit too! Jokes on them, all I need to make this movie is me and my extremely talented and dedicated actors. Like everyone says, if you want a job done right do it yourself. I asked Jack, my assistant, to go check on Carrie Coon, our lead actress. Luckily he didn't abandon me like the others. After twenty minutes there was no sign of Jack anywhere, so I furiously decided to go to Carrie’s dressing room myself. The door was wide open and no one was there. The room was also a complete disaster! While looking around I saw a suspicious red smear on the floor. I got the sudden feeling that something wasn’t right. I immediately sprinted back to the main set, and what I saw that day was something I couldn't even have dreamed of accomplishing in my movie.
