THE “BEST TEAM”
Opening day, the Steelers are entering the field at home against the Giants. With the best defense in the league it was an easy win, with easy games over the first half of the year they ‘easily’ win the 10 games but just escapes with a win against the ravens. Their next game against the Washington football team they weren’t as lucky losing against them, but it was only one lost right? The next week against the buffalo bills they lost again, people are now questioning their greatness “Are they really the best football team?” But to their fans they were thinking “Okay the Bills are a good team” It didn’t end there. Next week they played the bengals, it should be an easy win right? Wrong they were blown out and lost their third in a row, now with a division title on the line everyone was questioning if they could win 1 more to secure it. Down 2 touchdowns by half time they orchestrated a comeback just winning in the last quarter, Division secured now they can rest their starters against the browns next week. They lost to the Browns the next, however with backups they were pretty confident beating them next week in the playoffs. With all their players trash talking, overconfident, first snap of the game right over Ben’s head for a Browns touchdown. Next drive? Picked off and returned for a touchdown, again the drive but was chased down to the 15 and the Browns scored again, they got one more before the quarter was over. By the end of the game Ben threw for 4 turnovers and 3 of the 4 were INTs. they lost 48-37 a ‘good team’ undone like that in 60 minutes.
