I had made it. I was on the ship. I heard them yell 3..... 2..... 1..... and we were off into space. It was a bumpy ride but, I was so excited. I was going to Mars! I could see the moon and our Earth behind us. It was just around 7 months to get to Mars. I knew it would take a long time, but I was so excited. Four other people and I would be the first people on Mars. It was Jessica, Timmy, Robert, and me. But then something seemed off as we got further into space. Our ride was starting to get extremely bumpy. But this is not possible for it to be just an accident. This means that someone tried to sabotage the ship and we need to figure out who. So, I started the investigation. I started to think about where everyone was at the time the ship started malfunctioning. Robert was with me, Timmy was in the bathroom, Jessica was sleeping, Jack was trying to fix the ship, and I was keeping us on track to Mars. It couldn't possibly be Robert because he was with me the entire time and he is one of my best friends, he would never do something like that. But Jessica seemed a little suspicious. She was acting very weird, so I decided to keep my eye out for her. I followed her around and I noticed something very strange in her pocket. I reached out to grab it. Then Timmy jumped out to show me something. Our oxygen had been dropping! I was so close to seeing what Jessica had in her pocket. Robert then figured out that the oxygen alert was just a system malfunction. I then saw Jessica's coat hanging up and I was able to take what I saw out of it. I could not believe it. She had a knife and a hammer in her pocket. She had destroyed the ship! I never thought Jessica would do this. She then saw me and asked me what I was doing with her stuff. "Jessica it was you all along?" I said. She then told me that it wasn't her and that it was for one of the projects she was working on. Suddenly the back door opened! We had fallen out of the ship and we were only 2 months away from Mars. The only person left on the ship was my best friend, Robert. I could not believe him. Out of all people I never expected it to be him. He flew the ship away, leaving us drifting in space... wondering what was going to happen next and if anyone would ever find us.
