“Ring ring” My alarm clock just went off. It was time for me to get ready for school. I brushed my teeth and got dressed. I was watching TV while eating breakfast. I was on the news channel and a reporter informed me that there was a new deadly virus circulating in Brazil. He also said something about blood and corpses. Well, I hope it’s nothing too serious. Anyway, it’s far from where I live so I guess I’m safe. I made it to school and as usual, the popular kid called me a loser. “Ring ring”. The class was finished. Time for recess. During recess, the so-called cool kids found something unusual on the ground. It was some type of red liquid with a gooey texture. They dared me to taste it to find out what it was or else they would give me a wedgie. I tried to run away, but one of those bastards tripped me. Suddenly, another one pulled my legs, took my head and forced it towards the liquid. “Taste it you loser”, they yelled. I didn’t want to, but I had no other choice. I would look like a fool either way, but if I didn’t do it, they would bully me even more. I tasted it. It tasted like blood. It was revolting! The whole school stopped and stared. I got up and spat on one of the bullies’ faces. They all ganged up and beat the living daylights out of me. One of them punched me so hard I fell to the ground. Everything was in slow-mo. People were standing around me, but I couldn’t recognize anything or anyone. My vision was blurry. I woke up breathing heavily and everything was dark. I could barely move. I was in some sort of box. I pushed the top open and walked out. I was dressed in a suit and had flowers all over me. I looked at the box and it wasn’t an ordinary box. It was a coffin. I was supposed to be dead, but somehow I wasn’t. I was a living dead human with a sudden crave of meat. Human flesh to be exact. Oh I could devour an arm right now. I just might do that... maybe taste those bullies...
