The clouds seemed like they had been painted in the sky by god himself. I had never seen a more picturesque day in all of my twenty four years. I look down at my body and find myself dressed in the most bright blue dress on the market with white laced gloves and a hand purse that was so new it shined. I looked to my feet and was shocked to find a brand new pair of black heels. I reached my freshly manicured nails in my hand purse and pulled out a miniature diamond mirror. I held it up to my face to find myself wearing the most dazzling ruby red lipstick. My hair was pinned up to a small hat that matched my dress. I hear an excited voice calling to me it said, "Schöne Blume you've come home!" I turn to find my husband Joseph smiling with arms wide open. I smile and cry harder than I ever had as I sprint for his warm embrace. I collapse in his arms and hold him as I shake in disbelief. Joseph stokes my hair an whispers my name, "Ruth". I sob as I hear my name come out of his mouth. I thought I might never again feel his breath upon my cheek. I tell him the words I've been longing to say since the day he was taken from me, "ich liebe dich" (I love you). He repeats these words softly in my ear. We hold each other for what seems hours until Joseph holds my face and says,"I have been away from you for four long years. I have watched you closely and guided you through hard times. I have seen the nights you scream my name and the countless hours you cry. It is now 1945 and this demon of a man will be defeated within the week. There will be no more pain, no more suffering, and no more black spiders in our Germany. I only wish you could be in the better world that is to come. My beautiful flower will now be in heavens field alongside me." We both stand up and are lifted away as we seal out eternal love with a kiss.
