It has been 7 days since the murder of my family and I… I was the one who murdered them. I couldn’t help it… they were turning into cannibals. The Chenoo got to them. My beautiful wife and my sons, I’m so sorry. When I kill that damn monster, I will join you in Valhalla. Until then please wait for me. I have travelled days and nights trying to find that beast, but it’s very cunning. It leaves barely any traces but when it does and I know it will, I will relentlessly track him to hell and back. I will honour my family by killing that evil creature. I heard from the seer of a small village that I will have to climb the highest mountain to find what I want. So I went to the tallest mountain that I could find. Mount Lokest. It is the most dangerous mountain out there, the perfect place for a monster like the Chenoo. I climbed it for 3 days and 3 nights. Climbing there was no easy feat, the storm was strong and to survive I used anything I could find, wolves, deers even insects. The wolves were ferocious, biting me anywhere they could. Thankfully I slew them but it felt like the number of wolf packs were some kind of test to prove my worth. Even that damn blizzard felt like a test from the gods. Finally, the storm ended and I arrived at the peak and found a cave. It was in there I could feel it. Finally it showed me it’s ugly face. We fought a great battle. That humanoïde monster was at least 7 feet tall, with big long claws, fur as white as snow and eyes so black I could see myself in them. Every time I looked into his eyes I saw the pleasure he had done to my family. This monster could not talk but he communicated with his eyes and I only saw malice in that face. My sword gave me strength and pride so I would not fall prey to his intimidations. Our clash was long and I was getting to my limit. Until finally, we both landed our fatal blows. I cut his head right off of him and he ripped my organs out of me. I knew that I could not survive my way down the mountain. I crawled out of the cave and I admired the view that the monster had from here. I got on my feet and now, I could finally join my family… so I jumped.
