Zoom of Doom
Beep, Beep BEEP (alarm clock). Ahhh (yawning). I wake up hearing a small branch scratch against my window as my alarm clock shouts into my ear. I lift my eyelids and turn off the alarm. Another light branch scratches the window. One of the four window quadrants is scratched while the others remain unscathed. After getting out of bed, I walk over to the window, open it, and push the branch away. After that, I walk down the creaky wooden stairs. My mom walks in as I pour my milk into some sweet Honey Nut Cheerio cereal for breakfast.
“Good Morning’” I say.
“How are you?” She replies.
“Pretty good,” I respond.
I begin eating my cereal. My mom looks at the clock and says “You're going to be late to class.”
I ran from the kitchen into the bathroom, and finally into my room. I sit down on my chair, open up my computer, realize the Wifi is down. Shout with happiness: “YAY, no zoom!”
