Day began to fade,
The men far from home.
Solid ground was where the lifeless souls stayed,
As men ceased their roam.
A gentle hum was recognized,
Dismay soon started to spread.
Some stood paralyzed,
Others lay asleep in their bed.
The danger grew near,
Panic had reached its crest.
Men stood ridden with fear,
Their feelings being confessed.
The night turned still,
Voices were unheard.
The dreams they’ve yet to fulfill,
As horror was about to occur.
They’d finally see the light,
Amidst their closest companions.
There was no need for any more fright,
While they gazed over the Earth’s canyons.
