Dear River,
I just can’t wait to see you in exactly 5 hours, 25 min and 14 seconds! I will finally get to meet Rufus and see the mountains again! The airport is just like NYC. It’s so busy and there is even traffic! Mummy-Daddy-Kiku came to see me off! Daddy even took time off work! I don’t know if I have told you this, but Daddy found a new job in NYC! He now works as a land surveyor. We also moved into a new apartment in Queens! It’s on the 5th floor and we have beautiful views of the park through our many windows! The windows are my FAVORITE part of the whole apartment. I sometimes miss Anna Maria though. But it’s worth it because I now have my own room! We also have a sky blue couch and a TV! The other day Kiku spilled coffee that Daddy brought from work all over his bed. I helped him clean it up before Mum saw it. It’s getting late. I better try to get some sleep now because I know that I will not be able to sleep on the plane.
1 hour later
The plane is about to take off! I’m a little nervous about the takeoff because I remember the last time I flew on a plane and let’s just say it wasn't pretty. I’m excited though because it feels like I’m going home! We are still saving up to really go home though. I already miss Mummy, Daddy, and Kiku, but I’m excited for some new experiences! Oh! I better go, the pilot just announced that we need to put all of our devices away for takeoff! See you in 4 hours and 15 minutes!

Oh, I almost forgot to tell you! Mrs. Lau won the court case against the landlord! She didn’t want to move back into the apartment though. She said that she loves seeing Cuba run around in the big backyard! I go and visit them every other weekend. I won’t get into much more detail here! See you soon!

Sorry if that sounded a little confusing. The landlord fixed the mold problems, the drafty windows, and all the water in little pools on the bathroom floor! Vanessa and some of the other people that got evicted moved back in! See ya!
