"No. Not at all. Horrible."
Daisey's been trying to draw Collie, her dog, for the last two hours. Apparently, two hours of sketching can make half of the pages in Daisey's notebook disappear and turn into crumpled pieces of paper on the floor. Just like that.
"So, are you going to the Halloween festival tomorrow?" I asked. Daisey frowned. "No, at least I don't think so." Then, started humming and threw another crumpled piece of paper at the trash can. She missed. "Are you?" I started humming along to her song. "Winter Lireo, are you going to the festival?" "No, at least I don't think so." I answered sarcastically. Daisey threw one of her failed Collie drawings at me as a paper airplane. It flew across the room.
"They have a ginormous maze there." Daisey stopped drawing and humming. "Why didn't you tell me? We should totally go." As you can see, my friend, Daisey can change her mind very quickly. "Sure, I'll go too." Daisey looked up from her notebook and focused her attention on the clock on my wall. "What time does the festival start?" "At four," I answered. "It's three-forty-two." she said as if she was the only one that could see the clock. "Okay, then shouldn't we start walking to the school?" "Probably."
Me and Daisey reached the school at about four to four-fifteen, because the festival had already started. We immediately went straight for the maze, we finished it in about an hour and then we went to play some of the festival games until we finally admitted we were tired.
We walked back to my house to collect Daisey's notebook and then drop her off at her house, only two blocks away from mine, but right when she entered the door to my house, she slumped on the couch and fell asleep. By the way, when we got home it was eight or nine, so it made sense why Daisey immediately fell asleep. I was tired as well, but not enough to slump on the couch like Daisy did. I was about to go to sleep, when I looked over at the table where Daisey's notebook was I saw a half sketch of Collie. I had the perfect idea. I finished it for her.
