One cold and stormy night, Evelyn a 13 year old girl was getting ready to go to sleep. Evelyn brushed her teeth, and put on her pajamas. Then she laid down on her bed and drifted into a deep sleep. She saw herself wake up and go down stairs to eat breakfast with her grandparents. Evelyn would be spending 3 weeks with them in their beach house in Florida. Her parents were in Montana waiting for her to come home. Then, she ate her scrumptious waffles. It took her 5 minutes to gobble up the waffles and walk up stairs. After, Evelyn brushed her teeth and picked out her favorite outfit which was her sports T shirt and workout shorts. Later, she went back downstairs and came up to her grandparents in the dining room reading a letter. Then she noticed, they were crying. Evelyn asked them what was wrong and her grandmother said, “Oh well, I guess you would have found out one way or the other. This letter is from your dad, he said that while you were gone your mother had a heart attack and she um..... she died honey.” Then just like that, Evelyn started crying and ran upstairs and slammed her bedroom door. She just couldn’t believe it. And that was when she realized that she was seeing this. So, she opened her eyes and found herself in her bedroom sweating. Evelyn checked the time and she saw that it was the middle of the night. Then she decided to call her dad and asked him if mom died. He said, “Evelyn, when did you come up with this nonsense. Your mother is right here. She is not dead.” Evelyn was so relieved, so she went back to sleep.
