"No way" said Amy with a shocked look on her face. Your probably wondering what is happening, well, it all started a long time ago. You see, me and my family weren’t like the rest of the people, we lived on an island. My father always said that we were “cursed.” I never believed so, but we couldn’t get out of the island. there was a legendary beast in the water around our island guarding it. Apparently generations have lived here and passed away with no way to escape, this is a story of how I changed that. As a kid I was super curious but my father always told me “wherever you go, stay away from the edge of the island.” I tried to, but my curiosity beat me. I walked up to the edge of the island, I was close enough to see a giant beast in the water. But... there was only one problem it wasn’t moving! I was reluctant but finally, after moments of doubting myself and my theory, I pushed my hand in the water, the beast was still there but it was shaking. To bring my theory to the test I splashed water on the beast and yet again it shook and disappeared for a very short moment. Then I realized, I gently stood up and looked behind my back and suddenly, all the pieces fit together. The waterfall was reflected in the water making it seem like a giant beast was there and guarding us. Soon enough, the village packed their bags, each family built a row boat big enough for them to ride on to get out of that island! My family were all very proud of me. father suddenly spoke “ Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage.”
