I was woken up by a call from my friend this morning. “Hey bro! Take a look outside!” I shook my head to get rid of the drowsiness, and I opened my front door. Wow! I was completely shocked once I was outside. Every single person in the street was holding colourful balloons. I rubbed my eyes and realized it was not a dream. With curiosity, I asked an old man with his grandson, “ Is it a new trend or something?” “Nah, it seems that these balloons are the newest technology that can lock all your bad feelings once you  blow them up.” In the meantime, his grandson fell on the ground and grazed his knee. That young little boy started to cry because of the burning pain. However, right after blowing a balloon, he seemed relieved. “ You see? The pain is locked inside the balloon.”, the old man turned back and told me. After a few days, I went to my friend’s house to have some fun with him, but I was immediately surprised when I entered his room. It was filled with inflated balloons and my friend carefully emerging from them to not break them. “ Yo bro! Let me show you my collection. This balloon locks the disappointment of my final exams, this one locks my sense of guilt for not finishing my homework and that one locks the fear of not being able to pass the year. Haha I never felt so happy because they all disappeared.” After telling me his feelings, my friend started to laugh like he was going to spit his lungs. I was stunned by what I saw in front of me, so I decided to run away and never touch these weird balloons. A few months later, there’s no people anymore on the streets, and the sky was covered with countless balloons because there were too many gloomy thoughts and sadness in our minds. I rushed over to my friend’s house, but he had already become a dead body that looked like a flat balloon. Maybe in his mind, there was nothing but his dark side so he ended up locking his soul in them. I felt so hopeless by this scene. Suddenly, I stepped onto a brand new balloon. I stared at it, and  then I grabbed it and put it up to my mouth, ready to blow.
