In the deep and narrow trenches of France in the city Toulouse, the brave American soldier Jimmy Brown was fighting for his life. This fierce war has been fought for almost 20 years now. Tons of blood has been shed in this war that has been a stalemate for all of these years that feel like decades. He was a courages fighter, very confident in his skill to kill, but tomorrow at 11:00 A.M He was to return home to his wife which he thought has died years ago.

On a rainy night in Paris standing underneath her minuscule umbrella with the rain pounding onto the roof of the houses. Ami Brown. The owner of a small shop on the street that she so often referred to as Magnifique Rue, beautiful street. One minute away from the Eiffel tower when walking. She took out her one and only picture that she still had of her husband, which she thought has been dead since 20 years. Tomorrow their 30th anniversary. Ten of these years they have spent together the rest Jimmy has spent fighting.

The day arrived it was 3 A.M in the morning and Jimmy jumped out of his mattress that he referred to as his bed. This was the day that he was supposed to return he grabbed his old rifle, put on his gear and went out into the narrow and moist trench. Firing his rifle. This is what he has done for all of these years. A bullet just barely skimmed his head, and with a blink of an eye he was lying in a bed. Unconscious he was for almost one hour, but when he looked up at his arm he saw the red blood dripping into a towel that the nurse had provided him with.

The time has come with his arm in a bandage he made his way to Paris. four hours was his journey there and when he arrived at the Eiffel Tower he saw the shop that they have opened on their 5th anniversary. In that shop he saw that looked exactly like his wife did. Spooked by the thought that his wife would not recognize him, he took a step into the store.

"Hello," a modulated voice said. "What do you want to buy?"

"Hi," Jimmy responded in a so quiet voice he almost didn't hear it himself. His plan was to pretend to be a normal customer, to see if she would recognize him.

"Do you need any help finding something?" she asked.

"I am just looking around," Jimmy answered so quietly that his voice could not be heard due to the heavy rain. Jimmy took a package of the chocolate that he and his wife would always eat underneath the Eiffel Tower.

"Is that it?" The women that was Jimmy's wife asked.

"Yes, that is it," with all of his courage Jimmy stuttered. "Hey, my name is Jimmy Brown," Ami's mouth dropped so wide open a football could have fit through it. She dropped the chocolate and sprinted towards Jimmy. She fell in his arms and they both started crying for joy on this rainy night in Paris.
