Billy needed a new house. His was so badly maintained that the ceiling leaked during storms and the wood was rotting. There were even electrical wires roaming free! Even though Billy was a student, he had a reasonable budget. He searched for hours on end to find THE house that would be the most convenient for him. He finally found the perfect one: it was in the countryside, very cheap, had a driveway, a nice garden, many rooms, a nice view, and many more beautiful features. Even though the house was quite far from civilization, he couldn’t believe that no one had placed an offer yet. He decided to visit the place. He wanted to make sure it was the same one in the photos and in real life. He was greeted at the door by a middle-aged couple that looked very amiable and friendly. They nicely asked him to come inside. The house was just like in the pictures, he was truly fascinated. There was a nice fragrance of fresh paint. He still thought that the price was relatively fishy, but he couldn’t help but stay. He talked with the couple while visiting the house. He learned that the last visitor didn’t appreciate the house so much since it was so far out of town. The couple invited Billy to dinner, and he couldn’t refuse such an offer. They gave him a nice meal and some tea. Their smile started to creep out Billy. They never ceased smiling. Before taking a sip of tea, he noticed a small door and remembered the basement. He asked the relentlessly smiling couple if he could take a look at it. They opened the small door with a key and led him downstairs. As soon as he entered, an extremely disgusting smell hit him. It smelled like dead rats decomposing. He flicked a small lever and the little light that was hanging from the ceiling lit up. To his horror, it wasn’t a rat or two decomposing. It was a mountain of human cadavers piled upon one another! In the panic, he tried running up the stairs only to see the door closing shut on him, hearing the click of the padlock, and leaving him to join the mountain.
