At a skate final one skater called Jeff that was the world championship of the year before was skating against Lucas, and everybody was cheering for Jeff because he won the last year, and all the media loves him. Lucas also was a really good skater and really young and this will be his first real final in a big competition like that.
Jeff was thinking about the prize and the party after he winning because he was thinking Lucas is not that good, but Lucas was really focused and thinking about how much he practices and works for that moment.
When it started Lucas went first and got all the good and hard tricks right , and nobody was waiting for it, not even Jeff, and he started getting anxious and really nervous about it, the ref gave Lucas a 9.3 as a grade and it was Jeff turn, when he get on his board he wasn't feeling confident and was really nervous and couldn't land no good tricks.The ref gave him a 7.6 and all his fans got mad at him because at his social media he stopped posting about practice and skate to post about party.
After this final he saw that if he just party and doesn't focus on his job he could loose everything at any time, so he started working hard again and in the other year he was one of the best again.
