Elise Waters was a 20-year-old young lady. The year was 1962 and took place in the deep dark alleys of London, England. Elise Waters paid the waiter and left the bar. Elise, an impoverished, adventurous girl, decided to stay out and not go home. While walking down a lurid, eerie alleyway to take a shortcut to the ragged park, she tripped on a hidden lever. Elise, being the adventurous girl she is, decided she wanted to investigate, after a solid 2 minutes of trying to open the hatch. It bursts open, sending bats out with it. No light could be seen, Elise jumped down the hatch as it closed behind her, she turned a flashlight she had in her purse and walked down the long, dark, hallway.

When she reached the end of the way, she was met with a lock. Elise took the bobby pin out of her hair and began picking the lock. She had never actually done this before, she had just seen one of the older boys at her school do it. Eventually, Elise heard a click, she lightly pressed the door forward and walked into the run. Elise began walking around searching for a lightswitch. She searched the walls, running her hand across the rough concrete.

After a long minute of searching she finally felt something, she turned on her flashlight and saw the switch. She flicked it on and turned around and was found face to face with a man, about a 30-year-old man, Elise tried to back up but was found hitting a wall, she looked the man dead in the eyes, and kicked him right where it hurt, she ran and ran until she was out of view, it’s a good thing, the room was huge. Eventually, Elise found herself hiding under a table. She took a glance at what was on the table, her jaw dropped as she went back under the table,
“That’s a lot of money,” Elise muttered.

Why would someone be hiding all this money in a bunker, she thought. Then it hit her, the bank down the street from her house was robbed a week back, this must be the man who did it. Elise’s was interrupted suddenly by the man reaching under the table for Elise. She ran for the bunker door and was stopped by another man, this one stood at about 6’4, weighing in around 240 pounds, and could probably deadlift 600 pounds. Elise stood there, her heart pounding. She tried to back away but bumped into the other man. She looked around for ideas, nothing. This can’t be the end, She thought, Mum just bought me my first car. Elise was standing there waiting for someone to say something.

“Are you going to… kill me?” Elise asked.

“What were you doing down here.” The bigger man said, completely avoiding Elise’s question.

“I didn’t mean to interrupt your guy’s...business.” Elise trembled. “I just tripped on a hatch, so I decided to see what it led to.”

The men kept talking, but Elise blocked them out and looked for ways to escape. The door that led to the bunker had already been sealed off. Elise was hopeless until she noticed something on the wall. She kicked one man’s leg and bolted off. Elise looked back, the smaller man was gaining on her, she had to think of something quickly.

She looked for something, anything. Then... she saw it, a walking cane. Elise looked back at the bigger man, it seemed as if he had a walking problem. She grabbed it and quickly turned around and wacked the smaller man unconscious. She kept running for the light switch, she had minimal time before the smaller man woke up again. She scavenged the wall for the exit, and finally, she found it.

She bolted out and up to the surface, the second she was up, she ran to the authorities and warned them of the secret bunker. From that day on, London thought of her as a hero, and Elise herself would be well known all throughout England, as "the girl that stopped the getaway robbers".
