One frosty night around 7;30 me and my family sat down to eat dinner. Winter had started and so mom made hot steamy soup. Yummy my favorite . We had been hearing weird sounds all night but my dad says that it was just the tree branches falling and too ignore it. So i did. We were all eating soup when we head a loud BOOM!! This one didn't sound like all the other sounds this one was loud, so loud my dog begane barking. Than i realized what he was barking at. The walls were cracking and chipping away as the floor quaked like a hurricane. me and my mom started screaming realizing something was wrong while my dad just continued eating paying no attention it seemed. Then, the roof lifted above my head and a right light shone above my dad i could hardly see. My dad lifted up into the disc shaped light still on his chair, as a little child like hand popped out and waved goodby. It has been 13 years, i never saw my father after that.
