One day there was this boy named Alex. He loved gaming every single day, but he got really addicted and played every day for 14 hours a day. He asked his mom to bring him some food to eat for lunch. He was very abusive to his mother because if she didn't give him what he wanted, he used to hit her. This behaviour got so bad one day that Alex’s mother was rushed to the hospital by an ambulance. She had critical injuries with multiple fractures and broken bones. She stayed in the hospital for about a day. Later that day, Alex’s mother was signed out from the hospital and she asked Alex's aunt to pick her up from the hospital because she couldn't drive. When she opened the door in her home, Alex was waiting at the door with flowers and a sorry card. His mother was really scared to go anywhere near Alex since what happened a few days ago, but at the same time she felt sad for him because he's gone through a rough year. So she asked her sister to come in with her so she wouldn't be alone. Alex handed her the card with a hug and apologized for what had happened. Alex's mother told him to sit down so they could discuss something. She told him that she signed him up to go to a group that helps with people like him and that he really needed help. Alex’s mother was surprised because Alex said that he agreed that he needed help because he felt bad for what he had done to his mother. So he went upstairs and packed his bag and the people from the organization were going to pick him up the next day. It was the next day and Alex’s mother called him down because they had arrived to pick him up . She started crying, but she didn't know why because of what he had done to her. Alex said to his mom that he’ll see her when he gets better, but little did he know they were bringing him to a mental institution where he will be spending the rest of his life.
