The weather was getting colder and the days started to get longer. I was standing in the porterhouse, hesitating to get in. I was sweating all the water of my body because I was scared. On my right, there was an elegant, majestic , beautiful brown wooden staircase . While I was admiring it, I heard a strange noise and I saw a big shadow on the other side of the house. I decided to run in the staircase to get away from the weird thing I heard. The bloody colour of the walls on the second floor didn’t help me to feel comfortable in this house. At the end of the hallway, I could see a small room. On the other side , I saw a frightening, bloodcurdling, terrifying doll. It was the shadow! Since my young age, they have always been my biggest fear. The scary thing started to run after me, so I walked faster and then I got in the room. I tried to find an escape but I couldn’t find anything except a closet. I decided to hide myself in it, but at the same time, I saw the scary doll standing in the doorframe. She said something that still haunts me to this day "Why are you always refusing to play with me? Today, I’ll force you to play with me!” My throat was tightened, I had goosebumps all over my body and I was hoping to wake up from a scary dream. In the closet, there was a baseball bat and with all my courage, I grabbed it and knocked out the doll. I got out of the room and I ran down the stairs. I saw the front door of the house but there were two enormous cadenas. While I was trying to unlock them, the scary doll had already caught me up. I knew it was the end because I felt a heavy pressure on my stomach and it almost took my breath away. A few minutes later, I woke up in my bed and my cat was sitting on my belly. I have never felt so relieved!
