The Mists Of FATHER
London was a great atmospheric city where anyone could be anyone. Bright lights hung over the city like fireflies in a dark forest. The moon illuminated the tall, brick skyscrapers, with its bright, fluorescent glow that colored the city with hope and belief. The polluted invaded place was buzzing with impatient drivers lined up bumper to bumper, beeping and honking at one another, creating an aggressive atmosphere. People rushed through the busy, noisy, polluted streets going everywhere and anywhere. Lamppost flickered, whilst cobwebs consumed them like a horrific disease. London's peak shining with a mesmerizing sight, as it towered above the rest of the grand city. Then it belled its whispery tune, which sent a cold shiver down my spine.

As I heard Big Ben strike eleven o'clock, thoughts ran through my head. ‘In one hour it will be a new day and one day less till the new year.’ As we carried on through the city, Abner led me past an iron gate that looked as though it had rusted over from decades of horrible weather. Like all gates, this one had a lock with an emblem of a lion, with a chain around its neck, that was finished with brushed metallic gold. Fortunately it had the same logo as the key that was in Abners hand. With some dispute, Abner was conflicted as he entered the key into the lock and twisted it. The chain quickly unraveled and hit the concrete ground, with a loud thash sound. We entered…

This place seemed strangely fimiliar... as if I was here before. A cold breeze followed me. Dust everywhere in this misty place. Then Abner shouted “Come on—look!”

As I hurried along, passing by the strangest things, my eyes glimpsing with confusion I started to feel strange. Panic ran through my veins. My heart was beating faster and faster. My head started to drum an echo - Where am I...Where am I… Where a...

The only light in this monstrosity which flickered without aspiration bursted. Now in the pitch dark place, where nothing was to be seen I heard the crawling of something on my leg. Something I rather not know what. As I quickly caught up with Abner, to not be left alone, up a ladder I climbed. Even though this two legged staircase was on the breech of giving up I was able to climb to the peak. In this dark I felt higher than ever, even though I was probably less than two feet above the ground.

My eyes stopped to stare as I saw it. My thoughts stumbled upon me and I did not know what to say to Abner. Could it really be? My mind puzzled with confusion; I rubbed my eyes. It was real. Then it echoed my name: “Hello Elizer.”
Wanting to go give my Father the biggest hug any son could give, I was having second ideas.
“H,h, how?” I asked him.
There was a break of silence. He gave me this loving look. You know the look that every dad gives you, when you get an A+ in a math test? I went straight to give him the biggest hug in the world. “DAD!” I shouted with joy. “You're alive!”
