Yamamoto sat on the cold concrete of an alleyway, spinning the mini-sword in his hand. It had been a few hours, but he was patient. He knew she’d show up. The girl he’d wanted dead for years.
Soon the quiet click-clacking of a pair of high heels could be heard. Yamamoto smirked and stopped spinning the knife. The unsuspecting Nakamura (who had recently gotten off of a plane from America) was walking with her phone in hand, and had just texted her location to her friends. She placed her phone in her skirt pocket, and started to make her way down the alley. However, she noticed a shadow out of the corner of her eye, and she paused. There sat Yamamoto. A young boy -About 16, two years younger than Nakamura- with a tantō in his left hand. Nakamura walked up to him, “hey- kid,” she said, waving in front of his face a little. Yamamoto didn’t respond.

”Hellooo? Hey, kid!”

“...So you don’t remember me,” he muttered.

Nakamura’s eyes widened, it could only be him. Yamamoto Kaede, her former childhood friend, whom she’d left behind while the orphanage they had lived in burned to ashes.
“...Yamamoto-Chan?” She gulped, taking a step back. Yamamoto sighed, standing up slowly. He lifted the knife to his lips with a grin. “You know what I think senpai?” He laughed quietly, “I think it’s time for you to realize just how painful abandonment is.” Nakamura continued to back up, nearly tripping, “Yamamoto, I didn’t know. I’m sorry, I’m sorry!” she sobbed. Yamamoto shook his head, “too late.” He then lunged at the girl, stabbing her in the heart. The burning sensation of regret replacing the sting of the blade.

Ito’s phone buzzed loudly. She sat up in her bed, her messy hair falling into her face as she grabbed the phone. She clicked on the notification, and read the message; “Almost there, wanna meet up?” Ito looked at the location, and got out of bed, throwing on a jacket.
Ito walked down the sidewalk, and turned to walk down the alleyway. She dropped her phone, falling to her knees. “Nakamura-Senpai..” she wept, as Yamamoto stood directly behind her.
