It's Hunting You

Andreas and Mortiz, two German men, were walking into the unexplored wilderness of the German redwoods, preparing for the cold winter. They needed to get their hands on some fresh meat. The winter breeze tickled their skins as they entered the deep forest. Wolves howled from a distance. Guns locked and loaded, aiming up and down, side to side. Movement caught their eyes in the dark - a creature with big horns and four legs; it was running towards them.
Fear entered their bodies as the creature came closer and closer; its shadow getting larger and larger. 'BAM!' Mortiz shot into the dark. The creature fell out of the shadow with antlers sticking out - to their relief, it was a deer.
"What was it running from?" asked Mortiz.
"Don’t know, let's just take the corpse and leave, this place is giving me goosebumps," responded Andreas.
So they took the corpse with all their strength and carried it backwards; it was then they realised they weren't alone.
On their way back, they saw something clinging to a tree with black robes jangling off it. Whatever it was, jumped from the towering, terrifying tree and let out a tremendous scream that was unbearable to hear. It had a black exoskeleton with razor sharp teeth and claws - no eyes, no nose, just a black walking skeleton. With their hearts pumping faster than ever, they fired shots; the entity barely flinched. "BAM, BAM, BAM!" shots fired - again, it barely flinched. The entity pounced, scratched the air and bit logs; it was fast, and it was angry. 'Give meeeee foooood'! it screeched in that same unbearable voice, barely understandable. The first thought that crossed the hunters' minds was the dead deer. They ran back towards the deer with crossed fingers, pleading that it would leave them alone. All of a sudden, the entity went silent, dug its claws into the deer, and dragged the corpse into the dark. The hunters ran away, with their hearts almost out of their chests. They were being watched.
