What was your favorite part of this year? This could be about an assignment, a teacher, or a school experience.

Even though we couldn't be together this year, what is your silver lining of 8th grade?(Shout out to a friend, family, experience, or teacher during distance learning). 

My favorite part of this year is probably trying to learn a new language ( French) even when it was hard it was pretty fun. I really like all my teachers, and even if we didn't get to learn in person this year wasn’t so bad.

Distance learning is hard and it was tough but me and my friends helped each throughout it. And also my teachers too they were very helpful since this whole thing was new, and so this year was sure a rollercoaster.

In English, we learned all about different types of writing, such as narrative and informative. We read a novel called "The Giver" by Lois Lowry and many news articles, some fake and some reliable.

I chose this assignment because it was fun, and it looks colorful.

This assignment was really fun, we got to explain and learn about each planet. The solar system!

In Science we have been learning about Astronomy and Non-contact forces! Students have studied the solar system, analyzed the planets, and created models of the solar system and Earth-sun-moon system.

In 8th grade math, students have worked with Number Systems, Expressions and Equations, and Functions, and will be diving in to Pythagorean Theorem, Geometry and Probability and Statistics for the remainder of the year.

It was a really easy and fun assignment to do. It involved mostly lines.

In this class we learn about sports. We exercise and workout every time in the class. Learning new sports is fun and can be very useful.

Volleyball was really fun and its a really nice sport.

I cant really link any assignments for this, but i really liked learning it and even  if it was hard, I am still going to continue to get better. French is a beautiful language.
